I'll tell you about Desann while your trial is being prepared... 37 KB A minor test to determine your fitness to wield a lightsaber again. Even in your relatively unpracticed state, you shouldn't find it too difficult. 51 KB If the ways of the Jedi were easy, there'd be millions of us, instead of dozens. Take Desann, for example. He was born on a planet unused to the wonders of the Force, where his seemingly magical abilities caused him to be feared and shunned by those around him. His childhood was one of loneliness and despair until a visiting trader discovered him, recognized the Force within him, and brought him to the Jedi Academy. 138 KB Yes. For the first time in his life, Desann was at peace. He'd found beings who liked him for who he was; beings who encouraged him to develop his talents. Over time, however, things changed. 81 KB He became cold. Severe. He belittled his fellow students for what he perceived to be their weaknesses, and argued, sometimes violently, with his teachers. During a training session, he struck down and killed a fellow student in cold blood. Desann said he was too "weak" to be a Jedi. For now the Valley's effectively sealed off, but we have no idea how many troops Desann managed to empower before we got there. They've managed to siphon Force energy from every site that was mentioned in my journal. My fear is that they may use clues in my journals to discover other places. 70 KB We need to beat them to these locations. Considering how we... lost a student last time, we must be very cautious. To confront three dark Jedi and defeat them took bravery and skill. For your efforts I feel you are ready to join our ranks as a Jedi Knight. 100 KB That cloaking device is too powerful to fall into the wrong hands, cult or otherwise. It may be better to just destroy it. 45 KB If they are indeed attempting to steal Force power from that tomb, Tavion might be there. I believe that Tavion is storing Force power in the scepter for one purpose, to resurrect Marka Ragnos. 80 KB The Force holds a great many secrets. It may be possible that, if a high enough concentration of Force energy is infused into a body, the cells might regenerate, bringing the person back to life. 97 KB If Ragnos is resurrected, there's no telling what he might be able to do. It will take all of our strength to stop him. 55 KB Jaden, you did more than we could have ever hoped. You have become a true Jedi. 41 KB I've heard from the New Republic. The Imperials supporting the Disciples of Ragnos have been defeated and the remaining cultists have been rounded up. It seems they lost their powers when the scepter was destroyed. 86 KB Rosh, I hope your experience has taught you the patience and humility that may one day turn you into a great Jedi. 54 KB Jaden, you fought bravely, resisted the dark side, and saved another Jedi from certain death.
